The series extends 8 SEKUNDEN through 8 episodes whose stories find their origins in several key moments of the film.

The eight episodes are devoted to the story of prisoners who were able to escape thanks to the resistance action of Raymond Vinclair and his accomplices. Among the hundred or so prisoners who escaped in the fall of 1943, I was able to track down 62 people. In the documents found, 4 of them mention their escape at the Osnabrück freight station. 

I will go to meet the descendants to probe, today, the way in which the escape of their forefathers was transmitted, retracing their journeys during and after the war.

After the tragic destiny and the erasing of the memory of my great uncle, these episodes tell what his sacrifice made possible by turning to "the living".
